GENERATING AND DETERMINING ADDITIONAL CONTENT AND PRODUCTS BASED ON PRODUCT-TOKENS - A simplified explanation of the abstract

This abstract first appeared for US patent application 18120402 titled 'GENERATING AND DETERMINING ADDITIONAL CONTENT AND PRODUCTS BASED ON PRODUCT-TOKENS

In some embodiments, a computer-implemented method involves receiving a user request for additional contents related to an object, constructing an object GTIF product-token capturing transform invariant features for the object, and determining if the object GTIF product-token matches a particular pair of transform invariant features product-token pairs.

  • Object GTIF product-token captures transform invariant features for an object.
  • Determines if the object GTIF product-token matches a particular pair of transform invariant features product-token pairs.
  • Displays additional content on the user device based on the match.

Potential Applications: - E-commerce platforms for recommending related products based on object features. - Augmented reality applications for providing additional information about objects in the real world.

Original Abstract Submitted

In some embodiments, a computer-implemented method comprises: receiving, using a client application executing on a user device, a user request for additional contents related to an object; constructing, for the object, an object GTIF product-token capturing transform invariant features identified for the object; determining whether the object GTIF product-token matches a particular pair of a set of graphs of transform invariant features product-token pairs (GTIF product-token pairs); wherein the set of GTIF product-token pairs comprises one or more of: a pair comprising a known GTIF product-token and a location data determined for a location of a user device, or others; in response to determining that the object GTIF product-token matches the particular pair, determining particular additional content based on the particular pair, and displaying the particular additional content on the user device.
