To-Be-Tested Object Processing Apparatus and Nucleic Acid Testing Integrated Machine with To-Be-Tested Object Processing Apparatus - A simplified explanation of the abstract

This abstract first appeared for US patent application 18519133 titled 'To-Be-Tested Object Processing Apparatus and Nucleic Acid Testing Integrated Machine with To-Be-Tested Object Processing Apparatus

The disclosure presents a machine for integrated nucleic acid testing with a sample processing apparatus.

  • The sample processing apparatus consists of a frame with a sample processing platform, an extraction mechanism for extracting an analyte, a movable grabbing part above the platform, a transfer part with an extraction plate transfer section, and a pipetting part.
  • The grabbing part can move between two positions while the extraction plate transfer part is in a specific position, and the pipetting part has a designated position.
  • The apparatus streamlines the process of extracting and testing nucleic acids from samples.
  • It allows for efficient and accurate handling of samples for nucleic acid testing.
  • The machine enhances the automation and precision of nucleic acid testing procedures.

Potential Applications: This technology can be used in medical laboratories, research institutions, and diagnostic centers for efficient nucleic acid testing.

Problems Solved: This technology addresses the challenges of manual sample handling and processing in nucleic acid testing, improving accuracy and efficiency.

Benefits: The technology streamlines the nucleic acid testing process, reducing human error and increasing the speed of testing. It also improves the reliability and consistency of test results.

Commercial Applications: This technology has significant commercial potential in the healthcare industry, particularly in diagnostic testing facilities and research laboratories.

Questions about the technology: 1. How does this technology improve the efficiency of nucleic acid testing processes? 2. What are the potential cost savings associated with implementing this technology in a laboratory setting?

Original Abstract Submitted

The disclosure provides a to-be-tested object processing apparatus and a nucleic acid testing integrated machine with the to-be-tested object processing apparatus. The to-be-tested object processing apparatus includes: a frame, provided with a sample processing platform; an extraction mechanism, configured to extract an analyte; a grabbing part, movably arranged above the sample processing platform; a transfer part being movably arranged on the sample processing platform, the transfer part including an extraction plate transfer part, the extraction plate transfer part being provided with a first transfer position, the grabbing part being provided with a first grabbing position and a second grabbing position, and when the extraction plate transfer part is located in the first transfer position, the grabbing part being able to move between the first grabbing position and the second grabbing position; and a pipetting part, movably arranged above the sample processing platform, wherein the extraction plate transfer part is further provided with a sample adding position, and when the extraction plate transfer part is located in the sample adding position, the pipetting part is further provided with a first pipetting position.
