CONTAINER SYSTEM AND METHOD OF ASSEMBLY - A simplified explanation of the abstract

This abstract first appeared for US patent application 18627538 titled 'CONTAINER SYSTEM AND METHOD OF ASSEMBLY

The abstract describes a container system consisting of two containers connected by a connecting member. The second container is secured to the first container, with the second wall adjacent to the first wall and the second opening aligned with the first opening. The connecting member includes narrow and wide portions that secure the second container to the first container.

  • The container system includes a first container with a first opening, a second container with a second opening, and a connecting member securing the two containers together.
  • The second container is positioned next to the first container, with its opening aligned with the opening of the first container.
  • The connecting member has narrow and wide portions that fit into the openings of both containers, securing them together.
  • The wide portions of the connecting member engage the walls of the containers, ensuring a stable connection between the two containers.
  • This design allows for easy assembly and disassembly of the containers while maintaining a secure connection.

Original Abstract Submitted

A container system including a first container having a first wall defining a first opening therethrough; a second container having a second wall defining a second opening therethrough; and a connecting member securing the second container to the first container. The second wall is disposed adjacent to the first wall, and the second opening is aligned with the first opening. The connecting member includes a narrow portion at least partially received within each of the first opening and the second opening; a first wide portion received within the first container, extending across the first opening, and engaging the first wall on opposing sides of the first opening; and a second wide portion disposed adjacent to the second wall, and extending across the second opening, such that the connecting member secures the second container to the first container.
