an electronic device is provided. the electronic device includes a display including a display panel, a lateral member which including a conductive material and disposed in a manner that at least a part thereof surrounds the display, a communication module electrically connected to the lateral member to enable the lateral member to function as an antenna, and a support plate disposed below the display panel and including a first region adjacent to the lateral member and a second region excluding the first region, wherein the first and second regions of the support plate comprise different materials.
