This abstract first appeared for US patent application 20250001033 titled 'WEARABLE FRAGRANCE DISPENSING DEVICES
Original Abstract Submitted
wearable devices for passively and/or actively dispensing or releasing one or more fragrances or aromatics are disclosed. the wearable devices are designed to include what are normally considered as utility embodiments, including for example tie-bars, lapel stays, cufflinks, buttons, eye glasses, earbuds, as well as ornamental embodiments, including for example jewelry such as necklaces, earrings, ear cuffs, pendants, pins, and bracelets. where the device is passively activated, the fragrance is dispensed as a function of time simply through a phase change, or as a function of increased temperature due to body heat. when implemented with an active release means, the wearable device would incorporate or be electrically connected to a power source that provides an appropriate heating means to increase the temperature of the fragrance material, and thereby provide a controlled release of the fragrance.
