Systems and methods for relevance-based ranking are disclosed. In some examples, a system receives a location associated with a user. The user is associated with a first entity type of a plurality of entity types. The plurality of entity types include customers and merchants. The system receives a request to search for a second entity type. The system searches through at least one data structure based on the location and relevance to the user to generate a search result. The at least one data structure includes information about a plurality of entities of the second entity type. The system provides the search result.
