according to an embodiment, a wearable device includes multiple sensors and a processor. the processor is designed to: identify a user's heart rate using a heart rate sensor in contact with a first body part; determine if the heart rate is at or above a reference level; provide a guide to contact a body temperature sensor with a designated second body part if the heart rate is high; acquire body temperature data via the sensor after the guide is given; and output a notification based on the acquired body temperature data.
