ELECTRONIC DEVICES AND COMMUNICATION METHODS - A simplified explanation of the abstract
This abstract first appeared for US patent application 18366698 titled 'ELECTRONIC DEVICES AND COMMUNICATION METHODS
Simplified Explanation
- The patent application is about electronic devices and communication methods. - The electronic device described in the application has a processing circuit. - The processing circuit is designed to receive RRC signaling and/or MAC CE signaling from a control-side electronic device. - Based on the first beam indication information in the received signaling, the processing circuit determines an activated beam for transmitting data in the physical control channel with the control-side electronic device. - The processing circuit can rewrite the activated beam based on the second beam indication information included in a downlink control information carried by a physical downlink control channel. - The rewritten activated beam is then used for transmitting data in the physical control channel with the control-side electronic device.
Original Abstract Submitted
Disclosed are electronic devices and communication methods. An electronic device comprises a processing circuit, the processing circuit being configured to: receive an RRC signaling and/or a MAC CE signaling from a control-side electronic device; determine, based on a first beam indication information of control channel in the RRC signaling and/or the MAC CE signaling, an activated beam for performing a transmission in the physical control channel with the control-side electronic device; rewrite the activated beam based on a second beam indication information of control channel included in a downlink control information (DCI) carried by a physical downlink control channel (PDCCH); and use the rewritten activated beam to perform the transmission in the physical control channel with the control-side electronic device.
