The method includes displaying an application interface in a target application, the target application having an association with a target event, the target application having a target account logged in; displaying an event pop-up in the application interface in response to the target event being in a livestreaming status, contestants of the target event comprising a target contestant; and displaying contestant information about the target contestant in the event pop-up, the target contestant having an interest association with the target account.
