TELECOMMUNICATIONS APPARATUS AND METHODS - A simplified explanation of the abstract

This abstract first appeared for US patent application 18353187 titled 'TELECOMMUNICATIONS APPARATUS AND METHODS

Simplified Explanation

The abstract of this patent application describes the presence of additional devices that can wirelessly communicate with each other within the radio environment of a telecommunications system. These devices include a pair of wireless access devices operating on Wi-Fi standard and a pair of Bluetooth devices operating on Bluetooth standard. These devices have the potential to cause radio interference for the telecommunications system. The abstract acknowledges that there are typically many more such devices operating in the radio environment, but only two pairs are shown for simplicity.

  • The patent application discusses the presence of additional devices that can wirelessly communicate with each other within a telecommunications system.
  • These devices include wireless access devices operating on Wi-Fi standard and Bluetooth devices operating on Bluetooth standard.
  • The presence of these devices can potentially cause radio interference for the telecommunications system.
  • The abstract acknowledges that there are typically many more such devices operating in the radio environment.
  • The abstract only shows two pairs of devices for simplicity.

Original Abstract Submitted

Although not part of the telecommunications system itself, also shown in FIG. are some other devices which are operable to wirelessly communicate with one another and which are operating within the radio environment of the telecommunications system . In particular, there is a pair of wireless access devices communicating with one another via radio link operating in accordance with a Wi-Fi standard and a pair of Bluetooth devices communicating with one another via radio link operating in accordance with a Bluetooth standard. These other devices represent a potential source of radio interference for the telecommunications system . It will be appreciated that in practice there will typically be many more such devices operating in the radio environment of the wireless telecommunications system , and only two pairs of devices are shown in FIG. for simplicity.
