INFORMATION RECEIVING METHOD, INFORMATION SENDING METHOD, AND COMMUNICATION DEVICE - A simplified explanation of the abstract
- This abstract for appeared for US patent application number 18342439 Titled 'INFORMATION RECEIVING METHOD, INFORMATION SENDING METHOD, AND COMMUNICATION DEVICE'
Simplified Explanation
This abstract describes a communication method and apparatus that involve receiving and sending information. The method involves a network device determining whether to send a wake-up signal based on the type of service to be notified. If the service is a unicast service, the network device sends the wake-up signal. If it is a non-unicast service, the network device does not send the wake-up signal. The terminal device then determines whether to detect the wake-up signal based on the service state. If the service state is a unicast service state, the terminal device detects the wake-up signal and receives the corresponding information.
Original Abstract Submitted
Embodiments of this application relate to the communication field, and provide an information receiving method, an information sending method, and a communication apparatus. The method includes: A network device determines, based on a to-be-notified service type, whether to send a first wake-up signal. When the to-be-notified service type includes a unicast service, the network device sends the first wake-up signal. When the to-be-notified service type includes a non-unicast service, the network device does not send the first wake-up signal. The terminal device determines, based on a service state, whether to detect the first wake-up signal. When the service state is a unicast service state, the terminal device determines to detect the first wake-up signal, and receives first information based on the detected first wake-up signal.
