BATTERY ELECTROLYTIC SOLUTION, SECONDARY BATTERY, AND TERMINAL - A simplified explanation of the abstract

  • This abstract for appeared for patent application number 18335767 Titled 'BATTERY ELECTROLYTIC SOLUTION, SECONDARY BATTERY, AND TERMINAL'

Simplified Explanation

This application describes a battery electrolytic solution that contains an electrolyte salt and a non-aqueous organic solvent. The solvent can be either a first organic solvent or a second organic solvent, which are defined by specific chemical formulas. The first organic solvent can have a fluoroalkyl, fluoroalkoxy, fluoroalkenyl, fluoroalkenyloxy, fluoroaryl, or fluoroaryloxy group, while the second organic solvent can have an alkyl, alkoxy, alkenyl, alkenyloxy, aryl, or aryloxy group. The electrolytic solution can contain a total of 10% to 90% of the first and/or second organic solvent. The solution is characterized by having a high content of the first and/or second organic solvent.

Original Abstract Submitted

This application provides a battery electrolytic solution, including an electrolyte salt and a non-aqueous organic solvent. The non-aqueous organic solvent includes a first organic solvent shown in a formula (I) and/or a second organic solvent shown in a formula (II): R—S(═O)—N(—R)—Rformula (I); and R—S(═O)—N(—R)—S(═O)—Rformula (II). Rand Rare separately selected from fluoroalkyl, fluoroalkoxy, fluoroalkenyl, fluoroalkenyloxy, fluoroaryl, or fluoroaryloxy. Rand Rare separately selected from alkyl, alkoxy, alkenyl, alkenyloxy, aryl, or aryloxy. x is 1 or 2, and y is 1 or 2. A total content in mass of the first organic solvent and/or the second organic solvent in the electrolytic solution ranges from 10% to 90%. The electrolytic solution includes the first organic solvent and/or the second organic solvent of a high content in mass.
