METHODS, APPARATUSES AND SYSTEM FOR BEAM ALIGNMENT FOR NR SIDELINK - A simplified explanation of the abstract
This abstract first appeared for US patent application 18316860 titled 'METHODS, APPARATUSES AND SYSTEM FOR BEAM ALIGNMENT FOR NR SIDELINK
Simplified Explanation
The patent application describes a method for transmitting two sets of SL-BMRS (sidelink beam management reference signals) using multiple antenna panels or elements.
- SL-BMRS are signals used for managing the transmission of data between devices in a wireless communication network.
- The method involves transmitting the first set of SL-BMRS on one or more antenna panels or elements.
- The second set of SL-BMRS is transmitted simultaneously on at least two of the multiple antenna panels or elements.
- This allows for improved signal transmission and reception in the wireless communication network.
- The patent application also includes details of an apparatus, computer program, and system for implementing this method.
Original Abstract Submitted
Inter-alia, a method is disclosed comprising: transmitting a first set of SL-BMRS, sidelink beam management reference signals; and transmitting a second set of SL-BMRS; wherein the first set of SL-BMRS is transmitted on at least one of multiple antenna panels or an antenna elements comprised by or connectable to the apparatus, and wherein the second set of SL-BMRS is transmitted simultaneously on at least two of the multiple antenna panels or antenna elements. It is further disclosed an according apparatus, computer program and system.
