A management system configured to manage power consumption, includes an edge device; and a server device, wherein the edge device includes a first storage unit configured to store, at every predetermined time interval, first power information based on a power consumption amount from when a target section starts; a second storage unit configured to store, when the target section ends, second power information based on a power consumption amount from when the target section starts to when the target section ends; and a first control unit configured to transmit the first power information in response to receiving a request from the server device, and to transmit the second power information at a predetermined timing.
