According to various embodiments of the disclosure, an electronic device may include a display, a memory, a communication module configured to perform a video call with an external electronic device, and a processor electrically connected with the display, the memory, and the communication module, and the processor may receive at least one piece of image data from the external electronic device through the communication module, may output the received at least one piece of image data to a first area of the display, may extract first image data among the at least one piece of image data in response to a first user input, may identify a first object included in the extracted first image data, and may output a first user interface related to the identified first object, and the first image data to a second area of the display which is distinguished from the first area.
