The communication method includes transmitting a request signaling to a base station to request the base station to perform at least one of the following operations, transmitting at least one downlink signal, receiving at least one uplink signal, and entering an active state. In accordance with the embodiments of the disclosure, the influence of the dormancy of the base station on user experience and transmission delay is reduced when the base station enters a dormant state to reduce power consumption.
