DATA TRANSMISSION METHOD, NETWORK DEVICE, AND TERMINAL DEVICE - A simplified explanation of the abstract

  • This abstract for appeared for patent application number 18187358 Titled 'DATA TRANSMISSION METHOD, NETWORK DEVICE, AND TERMINAL DEVICE'

Simplified Explanation

This abstract describes a method, network device, and terminal device for transmitting data. The method involves the network device sending resource indication information to the terminal device, which allows the terminal device to determine the allocated resource. The resource indication information includes location information of a resource in the system bandwidth and bandwidth information of the system. The network device then receives uplink data from the terminal device on the corresponding resource indicated. This approach allows the network device to indicate any system bandwidth size and resource in any bandwidth part to the terminal device, enabling data transmission on the indicated resource.

Original Abstract Submitted

Embodiments of this application provide a data transmission method, a network device, and a terminal device. The method includes: A network device sends resource indication information to a terminal device, so that the terminal device determines, based on the resource indication information, a resource allocated by the network device. The resource indication information is used to indicate location information of a resource in at least one BWP in a system bandwidth and bandwidth information of the at least one BWP. Further, the network device receives, on a resource corresponding to the resource indication information, uplink data sent by the terminal device. It can be learned that, in the embodiments, the network device may indicate a system bandwidth of any size and/or a resource in any BWP in the system bandwidth to the terminal device, so that the terminal device can perform data transmission on the indicated resource.
