METHOD OF TRANSMITTING AND RECEIVING DOWNLINK CONTROL CHANNEL AND APPARATUS THEREFOR - A simplified explanation of the abstract
This abstract first appeared for US patent application 18078288 titled 'METHOD OF TRANSMITTING AND RECEIVING DOWNLINK CONTROL CHANNEL AND APPARATUS THEREFOR
Simplified Explanation
- This patent application describes a method for a user equipment (UE) to receive a physical downlink shared channel (PDSCH) in a wireless communication system. - The method involves receiving a parameter related to discontinuous reception (DRX) operation from a higher layer. - The UE also receives first downlink control information (DCI) that includes information about monitoring adaptation for a physical downlink control channel (PDCCH). - Based on the information about the PDCCH monitoring adaptation, the UE receives second DCI for scheduling the PDSCH within a DRX active time of the DRX operation. - Finally, the UE receives the PDSCH based on the second DCI. - The PDCCH monitoring adaptation is determined based on jitter related to the PDSCH.
Original Abstract Submitted
The present disclosure provides a method of receiving a physical downlink shared channel (PDSCH) by a user equipment (UE) in a wireless communication system. The method may include: receiving a parameter related to discontinuous reception (DRX) operation through a higher layer; receiving first downlink control information (DCI) including information related to physical downlink control channel (PDCCH) monitoring adaptation; receiving second DCI for scheduling the PDSCH within a DRX active time of the DRX operation, based on the information related to the PDCCH monitoring adaptation; and receiving the PDSCH based on the second DCI. The PDCCH monitoring adaptation may be determined based on jitter related to the PDSCH.
