The method includes predicting a future RFE on the target to occur during a future time period of the time window such that a sum of the estimated previous RFE and the predicted future RFE does not exceed the MPE limit for the time window. The method includes determining, based on the predicted future RFE, a transmission power budget for a transceiver of an electronic device for transmission during the future time period.
