METHOD FOR TRANSMITTING/RECEIVING DATA IN WIRELESS COMMUNICATION SYSTEM, AND APPARATUS THEREFOR - A simplified explanation of the abstract

  • This abstract for appeared for US patent application number 18042525 Titled 'METHOD FOR TRANSMITTING/RECEIVING DATA IN WIRELESS COMMUNICATION SYSTEM, AND APPARATUS THEREFOR'

Simplified Explanation

The abstract describes a method for a terminal to transmit and receive data in a wireless communication system. The method involves the terminal sending capability information to a base station, receiving a reference signal from the base station, and transmitting downlink channel measurement information based on the reference signal. The capability information includes details about the terminal's duplex mode and communication range in a full-duplex mode. The downlink channel measurement information includes signal to interference plus noise ratio (SINR) information about the serving base station and neighboring base stations that can perform coordinated multi-point (CoMP) operations with the serving base station.

Original Abstract Submitted

The present document discloses a method by which a terminal transmits/receives data in a wireless communication system, comprising the steps of: transmitting capability information to a serving base station; receiving a reference signal (RS) from the serving base station; and transmitting downlink (DL) channel measurement information on the basis of the RS, wherein the capability information includes information about a duplex mode supported by the terminal and information about the range in which the terminal can communicate in a full-duplex (FD) mode, the DL channel measurement information includes DL signal to interference plus noise ratio (SINR) information about each of the serving base station and one or more neighboring base stations, and the one or more neighboring base stations can perform a coordinated multi-point (CoMP) operation with the serving base station.
