SERVER DEVICE, SYSTEM, METHOD FOR CONTROLLING SERVER DEVICE, AND STORAGE MEDIUM - A simplified explanation of the abstract

  • This abstract for appeared for US patent application number 18025325 Titled 'SERVER DEVICE, SYSTEM, METHOD FOR CONTROLLING SERVER DEVICE, AND STORAGE MEDIUM'

Simplified Explanation

The abstract describes a server device that can detect when someone is falsely claiming to be someone else during a biological authentication process. The device has two main components: an acquisition unit and an authentication unit. The acquisition unit collects biological information from a person who wants to be authenticated, using a terminal. The authentication unit then compares this information with pre-registered biological information for multiple users. If the authentication is successful, the device sends the registered biological information and flight information of the authenticated person back to the terminal.

Original Abstract Submitted

Provided is a server device that can detect mis-authentication during biological authentication. The server device includes an acquisition unit and an authentication unit. The acquisition unit acquires biological information for a person to be authenticated from a terminal. The authentication unit performs biological authentication that uses the biological information for the person to be authenticated and pre-registered biological information for each of a plurality of users. When the biological authentication has been successful, the authentication unit transmits biological information registered for the successfully authenticated person and information about a flight of the successfully authenticated person to the terminal.
