SPS REACTIVATION DCI - A simplified explanation of the abstract

  • This abstract for appeared for US patent application number 18012622 Titled 'SPS REACTIVATION DCI'

Simplified Explanation

The abstract describes methods, computer programs, and apparatuses for reactivating semi-persistent scheduling (SPS) in a communication system. In one example method, a user equipment (UE) receives two SPS reactivation downlink control information (DCI) messages from a base station. The UE then transmits a hybrid automatic repeat request (HARQ) feedback to the base station, indicating separately that it has detected both of the received SPS reactivation DCIs.

Original Abstract Submitted

Methods, computer programs products, and apparatuses for SPS reactivation are provided. An example method at a UE includes receiving, from a base station, a first semi-persistent scheduling (SPS) reactivation downlink control information (DCI). The example method further includes receiving, from the base station, a second SPS reactivation DCI. The example method further includes transmitting, to the base station, a hybrid automatic repeat request (HARQ) feedback separately indicating detection of the received first SPS reactivation DCI and the received second SPS reactivation DCI.
