The base station may transmit indications of a first slot format and a second slot format for the first panel and the second panel for a time period, at least one symbol for the first slot format having a different communication direction than for the second slot format. The base station may indicate the slot formats in a common configuration and a dedicated configuration for the first panel and the second panel. Additionally or alternatively, the base station may indicate the slot formats in a corresponding downlink control information (DCI) message. The UE and the base station may communicate using the first panel and second panel according to the corresponding slot format.
