COLLATION SYSTEM, CLIENT TERMINAL, SERVER APPARATUS, COLLATION METHOD, AND PROGRAM - A simplified explanation of the abstract

  • This abstract for appeared for US patent application number 17925664 Titled 'COLLATION SYSTEM, CLIENT TERMINAL, SERVER APPARATUS, COLLATION METHOD, AND PROGRAM'

Simplified Explanation

The abstract describes a collation system that divides registered information into two parts and sends the second part to a server. The system then performs three steps of similarity calculation between the registered information and collation information. The first step uses the collation information and the first part of the registered information, and the result is sent to the server. The second step uses the result from the first step, along with the second part of the registered information, and sends the result to the client terminal. Finally, the third step uses the result from the second step, along with the first part of the registered information, to calculate the similarity between the registered information and the collation information.

Original Abstract Submitted

A collation system includes divide registered information to first information and second information, and to provide the second information to a server apparatus , perform a first step for similarity calculation between the registered information and collation information inputted for collation with the registered information, based on the collation information and the first information, send a calculation result of the first step to the server apparatus , perform a second step for the similarity calculation based on the calculation result of the first step received from a client terminal , and the second information, send a calculation result of the second step to the client terminal , and perform a third step for the similarity calculation based on the calculation result of the second step received from the server apparatus , and the first information to calculate similarity between the registered information and the collation information.
