The roof side rail assembly includes an attachment plate and a rail secured to the attachment plate and configured to extend along a length of the vehicle. The vehicle pillar extends downward from the attachment plate. The pillar reinforcement bracket is secured to the rail and at least partially disposed within the vehicle pillar. The pillar reinforcement bracket includes a lower portion. The intermediate reinforcement bracket is disposed within and secured to the vehicle pillar. The intermediate reinforcement bracket also includes a connecting wall that is secured to the lower portion of the pillar reinforcement bracket. The connecting wall extends parallel to a surface of the attachment plate where the rail is secured to the attachment plate.
