RADIO LINK FAILURE REPORTING FOR MASTER CELL GROUP DURING SECONDARY CELL GROUP SUSPENSION - A simplified explanation of the abstract
- This abstract for appeared for US patent application number 17798287 Titled 'RADIO LINK FAILURE REPORTING FOR MASTER CELL GROUP DURING SECONDARY CELL GROUP SUSPENSION'
Simplified Explanation
This abstract describes a method and device for reporting a radio link failure in a wireless communication system. When a secondary cell group (SCG) is suspended, a wireless device detects a failure on the master cell group (MCG) and transmits information about the failure using a specific channel format. This transmission is done via the SCG because the usual transmission channel is not available.
Original Abstract Submitted
A method and apparatus for master cell group (MCG) radio link failure (RLF) reporting during secondary cell group (SCG) suspension in a wireless communication system is provided. A wireless device detects a failure on a master cell group (MCG) while a secondary cell group (SCG) is suspended, and transmits MCG failure information informing the failure on the MCG by using a physical uplink control channel (PUCCH) format via the SCG, based on unavailability of physical uplink shared channel (PUSCH) transmission via the SCG.
