A user might provide input that causes visual representations of files shown in the navigation area to be added to the holding area. Once the desired files have been added to the holding area, the user may provide user input requesting that the file hosting service perform one or more operations on the files represented in the holding area. In response thereto, the file hosting service can cause the requested operations to be performed on the files represented in the holding area.
