HYBRID AUTOMATIC REPEAT REQUEST CODEBOOK RETRANSMISSION - A simplified explanation of the abstract

  • This abstract for appeared for US patent application number 17661312 Titled 'HYBRID AUTOMATIC REPEAT REQUEST CODEBOOK RETRANSMISSION'

Simplified Explanation

The abstract describes a wireless communication system where a user equipment (UE) receives a signal to retransmit feedback related to a previous transmission. The UE then transmits a codebook associated with the feedback on a different channel. The codebook is determined based on the types of channels used for the initial transmission and the retransmission. The abstract mentions that there are other aspects of the system that are described but not detailed in the abstract.

Original Abstract Submitted

Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may receive an indication to retransmit hybrid automatic repeat request (HARQ) feedback associated with an initial transmission on a first channel. The UE may transmit a HARQ codebook associated with the HARQ feedback on a second channel, wherein the HARQ codebook is based at least in part on at least one of: a first channel type of the first channel, or a second channel type of the second channel. Numerous other aspects are described.
