MOBILE NODE MEASUREMENT FOR NODE DISCOVERY OR INTERFERENCE MANAGEMENT - A simplified explanation of the abstract

  • This abstract for appeared for US patent application number 17659761 Titled 'MOBILE NODE MEASUREMENT FOR NODE DISCOVERY OR INTERFERENCE MANAGEMENT'

Simplified Explanation

The present disclosure relates to wireless communication. It describes a system where a central network entity sends a configuration of transmission windows to a network node, which is associated with a mobility condition. These transmission windows are used for discovering or measuring interference between neighboring network nodes. The set of neighbor network nodes is selected based on the mobility condition. The network node then sends back information about any discovered neighbor network nodes to the central network entity. Based on this information, the central network entity can communicate accordingly.

Original Abstract Submitted

Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a central network entity may transmit, to a network node associated with a mobility condition, a configuration of a set of transmission windows, for a set of neighbor network nodes, associated with discovery or inter-node interference measurement, wherein the set of neighbor network nodes is selected based at least in part on the mobility condition. The central network entity may receive, from the network node, an indication of one or more discovered neighbor network nodes of the set of neighbor network nodes. The central network entity may communicate based at least in part on the indication of the one or more discovered neighbor network nodes. Numerous other aspects are described.
