METHODS FOR PROTECTING SIDELINK FEEDBACK INFORMATION - A simplified explanation of the abstract

  • This abstract for appeared for US patent application number 17659303 Titled 'METHODS FOR PROTECTING SIDELINK FEEDBACK INFORMATION'

Simplified Explanation

This abstract describes a method for wireless communication between two user equipment (UE) devices. The first UE receives control information from the second UE, which schedules a shared channel for communication. The first UE then determines a sequence for providing feedback for this channel, based on certain parameters. Finally, the first UE transmits this sequence as feedback via a separate feedback channel.

Original Abstract Submitted

Certain aspects of the present disclosure provide a method for wireless communication at a first user equipment (UE). The method generally includes receiving, from a second UE, sidelink control information (SCI) scheduling a physical sidelink shared channel (PSSCH), determining a sequence for providing feedback for the PSSCH, from a plurality of possible sequences, based on one or more parameters, and transmitting the sequence via a physical sidelink feedback channel (PSFCH) as feedback for the PSSCH.
