DYNAMIC SYNCHRONIZATION SIGNAL BLOCKS FOR SIDELINK COMMUNICATION - A simplified explanation of the abstract
- This abstract for appeared for US patent application number 17659293 Titled 'DYNAMIC SYNCHRONIZATION SIGNAL BLOCKS FOR SIDELINK COMMUNICATION'
Simplified Explanation
This abstract describes a method of wireless communication between two user equipment (UE) devices. The first UE transmits a configuration to the second UE, indicating certain parameters related to a sidelink synchronization signal block (S-SSB) burst. These parameters can include the length of the S-SSB burst, a quasi-colocation (QCL) index associated with the burst, or a first QCL order associated with the burst. Based on this configuration, the first UE then transmits the S-SSB burst to the second UE.
Original Abstract Submitted
Wireless communications systems, apparatuses, and methods are provided. A method of wireless communication performed by a first sidelink user equipment (UE) may include transmitting, to a second sidelink UE, a configuration indicating at least one of a length associated with a sidelink synchronization signal block (S-SSB) burst, a quasi-colocation (QCL) index associated with the S-SSB burst, or a first QCL order associated with the S-SSB burst and transmitting, to the second sidelink UE, the S-SSB burst based on the at least one of the length associated with the S-SSB burst, the QCL index associated with the S-SSB burst, or the first QCL order associated with the S-SSB burst.
