PROCESSING TIMELINE INDICATION FOR SCHEDULING A FEEDBACK RESOURCE - A simplified explanation of the abstract

  • This abstract for appeared for patent application number 17658196 Titled 'PROCESSING TIMELINE INDICATION FOR SCHEDULING A FEEDBACK RESOURCE'

Simplified Explanation

The abstract describes a wireless communication system where a user device (UE) can send a timeline indication to a network entity, indicating the minimum offset value for processing a specific type of communication called a physical downlink shared channel (PDSCH). The UE then receives an indication from the network entity that schedules a resource for transmitting feedback related to the PDSCH communication, called a physical uplink control channel (PUCCH) indication. This PUCCH indication is based on the timeline indication provided by the UE. The abstract mentions that there are other aspects of the communication system that are described in the disclosure.

Original Abstract Submitted

Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may transmit, to a network entity, a processing timeline indication associated with a physical downlink shared channel (PDSCH) communication, wherein the processing timeline indication indicates a minimum feedback channel offset value for processing the PDSCH communication. The UE may receive, from the network entity, a physical uplink control channel (PUCCH) indication that schedules a PUCCH resource for transmitting a feedback communication associated with the PDSCH communication, wherein the PUCCH indication is based at least in part on the processing timeline indication. Numerous other aspects are described.
