The abstract describes a process in which a receiving device resets a protocol entity called Packet Data Convergence Protocol (PDCP). This device also resets a context called Robust Header Compression (ROHC). The receiving device then receives retransmitted packets that have compressed headers based on the ROHC. It decompresses these packets and discards any duplicate packets after decompression.
