Simplified Explanation

The abstract describes a new invention related to organic electroluminescent devices. These devices have one or more layers that emit light, and each layer is made up of various sublayers. These sublayers include components that transfer energy to excite the light emission, as well as small emitters that produce light with a narrow spectral width. The invention also includes a method for generating light using these devices.

Original Abstract Submitted

The present invention relates to organic electroluminescent devices including one or more light-emitting layers B, each of which is composed of one or more sublayers including as a whole one or more excitation energy transfer components EET-1, one or more excitation energy transfer components EET-2, and one or more small full width at half maximum (FWHM) emitters Semitting light with an FWHM of less than or equal to 0.25 eV. Furthermore, the present invention relates to a method for generating light by means of an organic electroluminescent device according to the present invention.
