COMMUNICATION SYSTEM - A simplified explanation of the abstract

This abstract first appeared for US patent application 20240121780 titled 'COMMUNICATION SYSTEM

Simplified Explanation

The communication system described in the abstract of the patent application aims to provide unrestricted communication capabilities without the need for installing communication software on wireless devices. The system separates the functions of a wireless access point into a front-end unit on the wireless terminal side and a back-end unit on the internet side, with more complex radio signal processing functions deployed on the back end and simpler processing functions near the wireless terminal.

  • Front-end unit on wireless terminal side
  • Back-end unit on internet side
  • Radio signal processing functions on back end
  • Simple processing functions on front end near wireless terminal

Potential Applications

The technology could be applied in various communication systems, such as public Wi-Fi networks, smart home devices, and industrial IoT applications.

Problems Solved

1. Eliminates the need for installing communication software on wireless devices 2. Provides unrestricted communication capabilities without limitations on communicable areas

Benefits

1. Simplifies communication system setup and maintenance 2. Enhances communication efficiency and reliability 3. Enables seamless communication across different wireless devices

Potential Commercial Applications

Optimizing Wireless Communication System for Improved Connectivity

Possible Prior Art

There may be prior art related to optimizing communication systems for wireless devices, but specific examples are not provided in the abstract.

Unanswered Questions

How does this technology impact the security of wireless communication systems?

The abstract does not mention anything about the security implications of this technology. It would be important to understand how the separation of functions between the front-end and back-end units affects the overall security of the communication system.

What are the potential challenges in implementing this technology on a large scale?

The abstract does not address the scalability of this communication system. It would be essential to consider the challenges that may arise when deploying this technology in widespread applications and how they can be overcome.

Original Abstract Submitted

an object is to provide a communication system in which there are no restrictions on a communicable area and it is not necessary to install communication software on a wireless device. a communication system according to the present invention is configured so that the functions of a wireless access point are separated into a front-end unit on a wireless terminal side and a back-end side on the internet side, radio signal processing functions supporting a wireless scheme of the wireless terminal are deployed only on the back end, and only relatively simple processing functions such as e/o conversion are deployed on the front end near the wireless terminal
