DISTRIBUTED DISPLAY METHOD AND TERMINAL FOR APPLICATION INTERFACE - A simplified explanation of the abstract

This abstract first appeared for US patent application 20240111473 titled 'DISTRIBUTED DISPLAY METHOD AND TERMINAL FOR APPLICATION INTERFACE

Simplified Explanation

A distributed display method allows different parts of an application interface to be collaboratively displayed on multiple terminals, providing more flexibility and richness in collaborative display between the terminals.

  • The first terminal displays a first interface with a first part and a second part.
  • When a preset condition is met, the first terminal displays a second interface with the first part only.
  • The first terminal notifies a second terminal to display a third interface with the second part only.

Potential Applications

This technology could be applied in collaborative work environments, virtual meetings, and interactive presentations where multiple users need to interact with different parts of an interface simultaneously.

Problems Solved

This method solves the problem of limited screen space on individual terminals when displaying complex interfaces that require collaboration between users.

Benefits

The benefits of this technology include enhanced collaboration, improved user experience, and increased productivity in tasks that require multiple users to interact with different parts of an interface.

Potential Commercial Applications

Potential commercial applications of this technology could include software for virtual team collaboration, interactive educational platforms, and remote training programs.

Possible Prior Art

One possible prior art could be the concept of multi-screen display systems that allow users to interact with different parts of an interface on separate screens simultaneously.

Unanswered Questions

How does this method handle real-time updates and changes in the displayed interfaces across multiple terminals?

The article does not provide information on how the distributed display method manages real-time updates and changes in the displayed interfaces.

What security measures are in place to protect the data being shared and displayed on multiple terminals?

The article does not address the security measures implemented to safeguard the data shared and displayed on the terminals.

Original Abstract Submitted

a distributed display method provides different parts of an application interface that are collaboratively displayed on a plurality of terminals, so that manners for collaborative display between the plurality of terminals are more flexible and richer. a first terminal displays a first interface including a first part and a second part. when the first terminal detects that a preset condition is met, the first terminal displays a second interface, where the second interface includes the first part and does not include the second part; and the first terminal notifies a second terminal to display a third interface, where the third interface includes the second part and does not include the first part.
