in one aspect, the present disclosure provides a shift knob for exchangeable personalization. the shift knob includes an elongate body, a first magnetic component, and an exchangeable cap. the elongate body has upper and lower ends with a longitudinal axis extending therebetween. the body defines a longitudinal opening extending through the lower end and configured to receive at least a portion of a gear shift assembly to secure the elongate body to the gear shaft assembly. the first magnetic component is received in the elongate body adjacent the upper end of the elongate body. the exchangeable cap includes a second magnetic component that is magnetically attractable to the first magnetic component to removably secure the cap to the upper end of the elongate body. the cap has a top surface with a design portion visible externally on the shift knob.
