the present application provides a backlight module and a display device. the backlight module includes a back plate and a light source substrate, wherein a plurality of protrusions are provided on the back plate, and a groove is defined between the protrusions adjacent to each other; and the light source substrate is disposed on the back plate and covers the protrusion. in the present application, a light guide plate is provided in the groove to direct each light in the groove toward a side away from the back plate, thereby effectively alleviating a problem of a loss of light energy between light source substrates adjacent to each other and ensuring brightness uniformity of the display panel.
