COOKING DEVICE - A simplified explanation of the abstract

This abstract first appeared for US patent application 20240053023 titled 'COOKING DEVICE

Simplified Explanation

- A cooking device with a pot body, heating assembly, stirring member, and safety control assembly. - The safety control assembly includes three temperature sensors: one on the bottom wall, one on the circumferential wall, and one on the heating assembly. - If the temperature difference between the bottom and circumferential wall sensors exceeds a reference temperature difference, the safety control assembly stops the heating assembly from operating.

Potential Applications

This technology can be used in various cooking appliances such as slow cookers, rice cookers, and soup pots.

Problems Solved

1. Prevents overheating and potential accidents in cooking devices. 2. Ensures consistent and safe cooking temperatures.

Benefits

1. Enhanced safety features for cooking appliances. 2. Automatic temperature control for precise cooking results. 3. Prevention of overheating and burning of food.

Original Abstract Submitted

a cooking device is provided, including: a pot body, including a circumferential wall and a bottom wall which define a receiving space; a heating assembly, disposed around the circumferential wall; a stirring member, located in the receiving space and rotatably mounted to the bottom wall; a safety control assembly, including a first temperature sensor disposed on the bottom wall, a second temperature sensor disposed on the circumferential wall and a third temperature sensor disposed on the heating assembly; wherein temperatures detected respectively by the first, second and third temperature sensors are defined as first, second and third temperatures, respectively, and when the cooking device is on and a temperature difference between the first and second temperatures is larger than a reference temperature difference, the safety control assembly sends out a warming and control the heating assembly to stop operating.
