the present disclosure provides a battery cap and a battery. the battery cap includes a cap body and a pole assembly sealingly connected to the cap body and including a pole body and a connection member. the pole body is disposed on a side of the cap body, and the connection member is disposed on another side of the cap body; the pole body includes a limiting portion and a socket portion that are connected to each other, the socket portion being disposed on a side of the limiting portion, and a side of the connection member close to the pole body is recessed to define a mounting groove; the socket portion is inserted into and fixed to the mounting groove.
