SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR USE IN ENABLING DEVICE-TO-DEVICE COMMUNICATION, BASED ON USER INTERACTIONS WITH THE DEVICES - A simplified explanation of the abstract

This abstract first appeared for US patent application 20240029048 titled 'SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR USE IN ENABLING DEVICE-TO-DEVICE COMMUNICATION, BASED ON USER INTERACTIONS WITH THE DEVICES

Simplified Explanation

The abstract describes a system and method for extending dialogue between a mobile device and a point-of-interaction (POI). It involves receiving an identifier and a receipt for an interaction from a POI computing device, along with encrypted actions. The method includes decrypting the encrypted actions, storing the receipt, and notifying the user via their mobile device about the receipt and its accessibility.

  • The system extends dialogue between a mobile device and a point-of-interaction (POI).
  • A host server receives an identifier, receipt, and encrypted actions from a POI computing device.
  • The host server decrypts the encrypted actions and stores the receipt.
  • The user is notified about the receipt and its accessibility through their mobile device.

Potential applications of this technology:

  • Enhancing communication and interaction between mobile devices and POIs.
  • Streamlining the process of receiving and storing receipts for user interactions.
  • Providing users with convenient access to their receipts through their mobile devices.

Problems solved by this technology:

  • Simplifies the process of receiving and storing receipts for interactions with POIs.
  • Reduces the need for physical receipts and manual record-keeping.
  • Improves communication and notification between users and POIs.

Benefits of this technology:

  • Increased convenience for users in accessing and managing their receipts.
  • Enhanced efficiency in the receipt management process for both users and POIs.
  • Improved communication and notification system between mobile devices and POIs.

Original Abstract Submitted

systems and methods are provided for extending dialogue between a mobile device and a point-of-interaction (poi). one example computer-implemented method includes receiving, by a by a host server, from a poi computing device, an identifier specific to an account of a user, a receipt for an interaction, and one or more encrypted actions. the method also includes decrypting, by the host server, the one or more encrypted actions and storing the receipt. the method then includes, based on the decrypted one or more actions, notifying, by the host server, the user, via a mobile device of the user, of the receipt and accessibility of the receipt.
