METHOD FOR CARRYING OUT A CONSTRUCTION MEASURE AND CONSTRUCTION DEVICE - A simplified explanation of the abstract

This abstract first appeared for US patent application 20240026768 titled 'METHOD FOR CARRYING OUT A CONSTRUCTION MEASURE AND CONSTRUCTION DEVICE

Simplified Explanation

The invention is a method for carrying out a construction measure, specifically a foundation engineering measure, using a construction device, such as a foundation engineering machine. The construction device has multiple actuation elements and sensors to record operating states related to these elements. A computer unit receives recorded parameter values from the sensors during the construction measure.

  • The method involves storing a number of different defined process steps for the construction measure.
  • Transitions between defined process steps occur based on exit rules, which are determined by at least one characteristic parameter value of at least one sensor.
  • The recorded parameter values of the sensors are checked against the exit rules, and if they occur, a transition from the current defined process step to a subsequent defined process step is detected.

Potential applications of this technology:

  • Construction industry: This method can be applied in various construction projects, especially those involving foundation engineering measures. It can improve the efficiency and accuracy of construction processes.

Problems solved by this technology:

  • Manual monitoring and decision-making: The method automates the process of detecting transitions between process steps based on sensor data, reducing the need for manual monitoring and decision-making. This can save time and improve the reliability of construction measures.

Benefits of this technology:

  • Increased efficiency: By automating the detection of transitions between process steps, the method can streamline construction measures, leading to increased efficiency and productivity.
  • Improved accuracy: The use of sensors to record parameter values ensures that the transitions between process steps are based on objective data, reducing the potential for human error.
  • Real-time monitoring: The method allows for real-time monitoring of the construction measure, enabling prompt detection of any deviations or issues that may arise during the process.

Original Abstract Submitted

the invention relates to a method for carrying out a construction measure, in particular a foundation engineering measure, with a construction device, in particular with a foundation engineering machine, which has a plurality of actuation elements and sensors for recording operating states relating to the actuation elements, and with a computer unit, by which recorded parameter values of the sensors are received when carrying out the construction measure. according to the invention provision is made in that for a construction measure a number of different defined process steps are stored, in that from one defined process step to at least one subsequent defined process step a transition takes place as a result of at least one exit rule, wherein to each exit rule at least one characteristic parameter value of at least one sensor is assigned, and in that the recorded parameter values of the sensors are checked as to the exit rules and, if they occur, a transition from an associated defined process step to a subsequent defined process step is detected.
