HARDENED REUSABLE SHIPPER WITH REVERSIBLE LABEL HOLDER - A simplified explanation of the abstract

This abstract first appeared for US patent application 20240025598 titled 'HARDENED REUSABLE SHIPPER WITH REVERSIBLE LABEL HOLDER

Simplified Explanation

The abstract of this patent application describes a hardened reusable shipping container with a reversible label holder. The container is designed to receive a payload and maintain a specific temperature for the payload. It includes a base enclosure with a payload area and an exterior with multiple walls. One of the walls has a recess. The container also includes a plate that can be inserted into the recess and display visuals on its surfaces.

  • The patent application describes a shipping container that can be reused multiple times.
  • The container has a base enclosure with a payload area for receiving and protecting a payload.
  • The base enclosure is designed to maintain a specific temperature for the payload and the surrounding environment.
  • The container has an exterior with multiple walls, one of which has a recess.
  • The container includes a plate that can be inserted into the recess and display visuals on its surfaces.
  • The plate is reversible, allowing for different visuals to be displayed on either side.

Potential applications of this technology:

  • Shipping and transportation industries can use these containers to safely transport temperature-sensitive payloads.
  • Companies that require reusable packaging solutions can benefit from these containers.
  • The reversible label holder allows for easy identification and tracking of the containers and their contents.

Problems solved by this technology:

  • The container provides a hardened and reusable solution for shipping and protecting payloads.
  • The ability to maintain a specific temperature inside the container ensures the safety and integrity of temperature-sensitive payloads.
  • The reversible label holder simplifies the identification and tracking of containers, reducing the risk of misplacement or loss.

Benefits of this technology:

  • Cost-effective solution for companies that frequently ship temperature-sensitive payloads.
  • Reduces the need for single-use packaging materials, promoting sustainability.
  • Easy identification and tracking of containers improve logistics and supply chain management.

Original Abstract Submitted

hardened reusable shipping containers with a reversible label holder and methods of using the same are disclosed herein. a hardened reusable shipping container may have a base enclosure having a payload area that is configured to receive a payload and maintain a temperature of an environment surrounding the payload. the base enclosure may further have an exterior surrounding the payload area. the exterior may include multiple walls. one of the multiple walls may define a recess. the hardened reusable shipping container may have a plate having a first surface and a second surface opposing the first surface. the plate may be configured to be removably inserted into the recess and display one or more visuals on at least one of the first surface and the second surface.
