Cellular Network Slice Creation and Implementation Platform - A simplified explanation of the abstract

This abstract first appeared for US patent application 20240015517 titled 'Cellular Network Slice Creation and Implementation Platform

Simplified Explanation

The abstract of this patent application describes a method for implementing a cellular network slice using a template. The method involves allowing clients to define certain parameters for their network slice, selecting a predefined template from a library based on these parameters, and creating a new cellular network slice using the selected template. The client is then granted access to the defined network slice and provided with feedback on its performance. The predefined template in the library can be updated based on client feedback and the parameters of the defined network slice.

  • Clients can define parameters for their cellular network slice.
  • A predefined template from a library is selected based on these parameters.
  • A new cellular network slice is created using the selected template.
  • Clients are granted access to the defined network slice.
  • Feedback on the performance of the network slice is provided.
  • The predefined template in the library can be updated based on client feedback and the parameters of the defined network slice.

Potential applications of this technology:

  • Customized cellular network slices for different clients or use cases.
  • Efficient allocation of network resources based on client-defined parameters.
  • Improved performance and user experience in cellular networks.

Problems solved by this technology:

  • Simplifies the process of creating and defining cellular network slices.
  • Allows clients to have more control and customization over their network slices.
  • Enables efficient resource allocation and optimization in cellular networks.

Benefits of this technology:

  • Increased flexibility and customization in cellular network slices.
  • Improved performance and user experience in cellular networks.
  • Streamlined process for creating and updating network slices.

Original Abstract Submitted

various arrangements for implementing a cellular network slice using a template are provided. some number of client slice parameters can be defined by a client. based on these parameters, a predefined cellular network slice template can be selected from a library of predefined cellular network slice templates. a new cellular network slice is then defined using the selected predefined cellular network slice. cellular network access can be granted to the client via the defined cellular network slice and feedback on the performance of the cellular network slice is provided. based on the client feedback and parameters of the defined cellular network slice, the predefined cellular network slice template in the slice template library is updated.
