SELECTIVE AUTOMATIC PRODUCTION AND DISTRIBUTION OF SECONDARY CREATIVE CONTENT - A simplified explanation of the abstract

This abstract first appeared for US patent application 20240015342 titled 'SELECTIVE AUTOMATIC PRODUCTION AND DISTRIBUTION OF SECONDARY CREATIVE CONTENT

Simplified Explanation

The present invention is a web-based software and hardware system that works with a user device to capture audio, encode it, and add metadata using input from studio systems. It can parse the content based on its type and incorporate a segment of the encoded audio feed into a secondary production, which creates an indexed archive of audio and on-demand broadcast content. This system can automatically filter the content according to copyright instructions and serve it dynamically.

  • The invention is a web-based software and hardware system that captures audio feeds and adds metadata to them.
  • It can easily encode the audio content and incorporate it into a secondary production.
  • The system can parse the content based on its type, allowing for efficient organization and indexing.
  • It can create an indexed archive of audio and on-demand broadcast content, such as podcasts or on-demand broadcasts.
  • The system automatically filters the content according to copyright instructions, ensuring compliance.
  • The content is dynamically served, providing a seamless user experience.

Potential applications of this technology:

  • Creating and publishing podcasts or on-demand broadcasts.
  • Building an indexed archive of audio content for easy access and retrieval.
  • Providing a platform for content creators to manage and distribute their audio content.
  • Enabling efficient organization and filtering of audio content based on copyright instructions.

Problems solved by this technology:

  • Simplifies the process of capturing and encoding audio content.
  • Automates the addition of metadata to audio feeds, improving organization and searchability.
  • Ensures compliance with copyright instructions by automatically filtering content.
  • Provides a user-friendly platform for managing and distributing audio content.

Benefits of this technology:

  • Streamlines the production and publication of podcasts or on-demand broadcasts.
  • Facilitates efficient organization and retrieval of audio content.
  • Saves time and effort by automating the encoding and metadata addition process.
  • Ensures compliance with copyright instructions, reducing legal risks.
  • Enhances the user experience by dynamically serving content.

Original Abstract Submitted

the present invention provides to a web-based software and hardware system that act together with a user device to capture an audio feed, to easily encode and add meta data to the the audio content using input from studio systems, parse the content based on its type, and to provide the means to incorporate a feed segment produced from the encoded audio feed into a secondary production which is used to provide an indexed archive of audio and on-demand broadcast content, for example, by the creation and publication of pod-casts or on-demand broadcast, which is automatically filtered according to instruction relating to copyrights and which is dynamically served.
