COIL AND MOTOR PROVIDED WITH SAME - A simplified explanation of the abstract

This abstract first appeared for US patent application 18547521 titled 'COIL AND MOTOR PROVIDED WITH SAME

Simplified Explanation

The abstract describes a coil used for a stator of a motor, where the coil is wound with a conductive wire having a quadrangular cross section and stacked in multiple turns. The coil has coil ends at both ends in the axial direction, with one end having a specific turn positioned lower in the gravity direction compared to other turns.

Original Abstract Submitted

A coil is used for a stator of a motor. An axial direction that is a direction in which an axial center of the motor extends is used to intersect with a gravity direction. The coil is formed by winding a conductive wire having a quadrangular cross section and stacking the conductive wire n turns (n is an integer of 2 or more). The coil includes coil ends at both ends in the axial direction. In one coil end, a k-th turn (k is an integer and 1≤k≤n) is higher than other turns, and the k-th turn is positioned on a lower side in the gravity direction with respect to one another turn.
