MEDICAL MANAGEMENT SYSTEM, MEDICAL MANAGEMENT DEVICE, AND MEDICAL MANAGEMENT METHOD - A simplified explanation of the abstract

This abstract first appeared for US patent application 18546201 titled 'MEDICAL MANAGEMENT SYSTEM, MEDICAL MANAGEMENT DEVICE, AND MEDICAL MANAGEMENT METHOD

Simplified Explanation

The abstract describes a medical management system that acquires image information for each patient, sets priorities for processing, determines processing amounts, generates integrated image information, and displays the integrated image.

  • Acquisition unit sequentially acquires image information for each patient
  • Priority setting unit dynamically sets processing priority for image information
  • Processing unit determines processing amount for each piece of image information based on priority and performs processing
  • Generation unit integrates image information for each patient after processing
  • Display unit shows integrated image based on integrated image information

Potential Applications

This technology could be applied in various medical settings such as hospitals, clinics, and imaging centers to streamline the management and processing of medical images for patients.

Problems Solved

This technology helps in efficiently managing and processing image information for multiple patients, ensuring that each patient's images are processed in a timely manner based on priority.

Benefits

The system helps in improving the workflow of medical imaging departments, reducing processing times, and ensuring that critical cases are given priority for processing.

Potential Commercial Applications

This technology could be commercialized as a software solution for medical facilities looking to enhance their image management and processing capabilities.

Possible Prior Art

One possible prior art could be existing medical imaging systems that manage and process image information for patients, but may not have the dynamic priority setting and processing amount determination features described in this patent application.

Unanswered Questions

How does this technology integrate with existing medical imaging systems?

This article does not provide information on how this system can be integrated with other existing medical imaging systems to enhance their capabilities.

What are the potential challenges in implementing this technology in a real-world medical setting?

The article does not address the potential challenges that medical facilities may face when implementing this technology, such as training staff, system compatibility, and data security concerns.

Original Abstract Submitted

A medical management system according to an aspect of the present disclosure includes: an acquisition unit () that sequentially acquires image information for each patient; a priority setting unit () that dynamically sets a priority of processing on the image information for each patient; a processing unit () that determines a processing amount for each piece of the image information on the basis of the priority and performs processing on the image information for each patient on the basis of the determined processing amount for each piece of the image information; a generation unit () that generates integrated image information by integrating the image information for each patient on which the processing has been performed; and a display unit () that displays an integrated image on the basis of the integrated image information.
