COMMUNICATION APPARATUS, COMMUNICATION METHOD, AND NON-TRANSITORY COMPUTER-READABLE STORAGE MEDIUM - A simplified explanation of the abstract

This abstract first appeared for US patent application 18544960 titled 'COMMUNICATION APPARATUS, COMMUNICATION METHOD, AND NON-TRANSITORY COMPUTER-READABLE STORAGE MEDIUM

Simplified Explanation

The communication apparatus described in the patent application includes a processing unit, a judgement unit, and a communication unit. The processing unit analyzes an image of a target person to generate state information about their current state. The judgement unit uses this state information to determine what information needs to be transmitted to a first terminal associated with the target person, and decides whether to transmit this information. The communication unit then sends the necessary information to the first terminal.

  • Processing unit analyzes image of target person to generate state information
  • Judgement unit determines information needed for first terminal and decides whether to transmit
  • Communication unit sends information to first terminal

Potential Applications

This technology could be applied in various fields such as healthcare, security, and customer service to provide personalized and timely communication based on the state of an individual.

Problems Solved

This technology solves the problem of efficiently communicating with a target person by analyzing their state and determining the appropriate information to transmit to them.

Benefits

The benefits of this technology include improved communication efficiency, personalized interactions, and better decision-making based on the state of the target person.

Potential Commercial Applications

One potential commercial application of this technology could be in the field of retail, where personalized communication with customers based on their state could lead to increased sales and customer satisfaction.

Possible Prior Art

Prior art in the field of image processing and communication systems may exist, but specific examples are not provided in the patent application.

What are the technical specifications of the processing unit in the communication apparatus?

The technical specifications of the processing unit, such as the image resolution, processing speed, and algorithms used for state analysis, are not detailed in the patent application.

How does the judgement unit prioritize the information to be transmitted to the first terminal?

The criteria and decision-making process used by the judgement unit to prioritize and decide on the information to be transmitted to the first terminal are not specified in the patent application.

Original Abstract Submitted

A communication apparatus includes a processing unit, a judgement unit, and a communication unit. The processing unit generates state information indicating a state of a target person by processing an image in which the target person is captured. The judgement unit performs, by using the state information, at least one of processing of determining first information needed to be transmitted to a first terminal and processing of deciding whether to transmit the first information to the first terminal. The first terminal is associated with the target person, and is operated by a different person from the target person. The communication unit transmits the first information to the first terminal. The communication apparatus can also support decision-making on how to respond to the target person.
