STATUS NOTIFICATION APPARATUS, STATUS NOTIFICATION METHOD, AND COMPUTER READABLE RECORDING MEDIUM - A simplified explanation of the abstract
This abstract first appeared for US patent application 18511066 titled 'STATUS NOTIFICATION APPARATUS, STATUS NOTIFICATION METHOD, AND COMPUTER READABLE RECORDING MEDIUM
Simplified Explanation
The abstract describes a status notification apparatus that acquires face image data of a passenger of an aircraft, along with identification information and arrival destination information stored in association with each other. The apparatus then notifies a service provider at the arrival destination of the passenger's movement status based on the acquired information.
- Face image data of a passenger is acquired at departure/arrival airports
- Identification information and arrival destination information are stored in association with the face image data
- Movement status of the passenger is acquired
- Service provider at the arrival destination is notified of the movement status and identification information
Potential Applications
This technology could be applied in the aviation industry for enhancing passenger tracking and service provision.
Problems Solved
1. Improved passenger monitoring and notification systems 2. Enhanced communication between airlines and service providers
Benefits
1. Increased efficiency in passenger management 2. Enhanced security measures for passenger identification
Potential Commercial Applications
Enhancing Passenger Tracking and Notification Systems in the Aviation Industry
Unanswered Questions

Original Abstract Submitted
A status notification apparatus acquires face image data of a passenger of an aircraft, the face image data having been acquired at departure/arrival airports of the aircraft, and acquires, from a storage device in which arrival destination information regarding the arrival destination of the aircraft, the face image data of the passenger, and identification information identifying the passenger are stored in association with each other in advance, the identification information and the arrival destination information corresponding to the acquired face image data. The status notification apparatus acquires a movement status of the passenger, and notifies a service provider at the arrival destination of the acquired movement status and the acquired identification information based on the acquired arrival destination information.
