In one example, a wireless communication apparatus includes a communication processor and an application processor, and the communication processor is coupled to the application processor. The communication processor is configured to receive a first request sent by the application processor, where the first request is used to query a route selection descriptor. The communication processor is configured to send a second request to a network device. The second request includes at least one parameter in the route selection descriptor.
